Terms & Conditions

Welcome to AGEPC. By booking any of our services — including but not limited to Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Inventories, PAT Testing, EICRs, Floor Plans, Photography, or any other inspection or property service — you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Pricing Policy

  • All prices are based on standard property types, layouts, and access conditions.
  • Properties that are larger than average, include outbuildings, multiple units, complex layouts, or unique features may be subject to a revised quote.
  • Prices quoted in advance are estimates, and may be adjusted based on actual site conditions.
  • Any additional services requested on-site will be charged separately, subject to agreement.
  • AGEPC reserves the right to amend quotes following property inspection or assessment.

2. Key Collection & Return

  • If we are required to collect and return keys, the following charges apply:
    • £15 for collection
    • £15 for return
  • Total key handling fee: £30, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Key transfers must be arranged in advance with a designated contact person and location.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a £35 cancellation fee.
  • No-shows, where no one is available at the property to provide access, will be charged the full service fee.
  • Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties and is subject to availability.
  • If rescheduling is required due to access issues, this may be treated as a no-show.

4. Access & Safety

  • Clients must ensure legal, safe, and unobstructed access to all areas of the property required for inspection or service.
  • Unsafe or inaccessible environments may result in cancellation, and a call-out or rebooking fee may apply.
  • Pets should be secured, and hazardous areas (e.g. lofts, basements) must be made safe and reachable.

5. Service Limitations

  • Reports, certificates, or media outputs are based on observations and access at the time of inspection.
  • AGEPC is not liable for any inaccessible, concealed, or unreported defects.
  • Reports such as EPCs and Inventories are produced according to industry standards and regulatory guidance in force at the time.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on or before the day of service, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • We accept PayPal, bank transfer, or cash (receipted).
  • Overdue invoices may incur interest charges and/or be referred to debt recovery agents.
  • Services remain the property of AGEPC until payment is received in full.

7. Liability

  • AGEPC is insured for professional liability and public indemnity.
  • Our liability is strictly limited to the value of the service provided, and we do not accept responsibility for any consequential loss or damages.
  • Clients are advised to review all documentation upon delivery and report any errors within 48 hours.
